Conditions for returning your order

• We apply a 30-day return policy. Returns must therefore take place within 30 days and then be delivered to KW FLEX within 14 days.

• Products that are not returned in their fully original packaging and/or original condition may be returned. In this case, however, any reduction in the value of the products may be deducted from the purchase price. This applies to

  • Rackets with the plastic removed from the grip. In order to test, you must insert an overgrip.

  • Rackets that have been strung according to your preferences. The number of KGs of the stringing must be equal or lower than the maximum load, otherwise this product may not be returned.

  • Shoes and clothing must still have the product label attached to the product.

• It is not possible to return personalized products, as these are made according to your individual choice. This includes:
  • Clothing that you have had printed.
• Clothing (t-shirts, shorts, etc.) and shoes may be tried on, but this must of course be done hygienically (i.e. without stains, scratches, streaks, make-up, perfume smells, foul odors, etc.). If it is established upon return that this is not the case, the return may be refused or a reduction in value may be charged.
• Socks & caps/caps cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene.
• The costs for returning letterbox post are at the expense of the buyer

• The cost of returning parcel or letter post from other countries of the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Denmark, Austria or Germany is entirely the responsibility of the buyer.

When returning rackets, you should always do this in proper packaging to prevent damage.

Register return items

If the ordered product was not to your liking, for whatever reason. In many cases, you can return the item to us.

Go through the following steps:

1. Use the postal code of the delivery address and the order number to start the return procedure.
2. Select the products to be returned and the reason for return.
3. Then select your method of refund. We only refund the money.
4. Do you want a different size? If so, please create a new order.
5. Select how you would like to return the product: via a delivery point (See return costs above) or in store (No return costs).

6. Confirm and pay the return costs if necessary
7. Download the return label (also sent via e-mail)
8. Return the parcel
9. If the package is received neatly and meets our conditions, the money will be refunded within 14 working days.

Money refunded

After receiving and checking the return package, you will receive the money from us within 14 working days. The shipping costs for returning the item will be for your account. Even if it concerns an item that is returned, which falls within the warranty conditions. The shipping costs made by us will not be refunded if the order is not fully returned.

The prices below are based on the Dutch VAT rate of 21%, this may differ per country due to local VAT rates.

• The shipping costs are €8,95 to Germany. The delivery time is 1-6 working days.
• Free delivery on orders of €150 or more. (delivered via a collection point near the delivery address or at home)

The shipping costs and final price at the checkout will be displayed in Euro's, because you will always pay in Euro's.

By default, our system takes into account a minimum order amount of GBP 165 to use the statutory amount for VAT-free ordering. Normally this is GBP 135, but due to currency fluctuations our webshop programme has applied this. To avoid double VAT payments, we recommend ordering a minimum of GBP 165 worth of products.

KW FLEX is not responsible for any customs clearance costs (depending on the country) or any other costs. So be aware of potential extra costs.

Surcharge islands or remote locations

When shipping packages to islands or special destinations outside the Netherlands, there may be a surcharge on top of the standard shipping costs. Please take this into account when placing orders.

Partial delivery

Do you order several products at once, but is a product out of stock or is it listed as a Pre-order online? Then, in principle, the order will not be shipped until it is complete. If a product is out of stock, in most cases it can be shipped within 3-5 business days.

With a Pre-order item, it takes until the product is actually delivered. We recommend taking this into account as it can take weeks in some cases.

Would you still like a part of the order to be sent in a partial delivery?
In that case, we charge extra shipping costs and the item will be shipped as soon as the extra payment request has been fulfilled.

Too high shipping costs

The shipping costs are calculated automatically and can sometimes be higher than actually needed (e.g. 70 euros in shipping costs for 3 rackets). We can then refund the overpaid amount of shipping costs.

Recycling

The environment is very important to KW FLEX. We re-use carton boxes from other suppliers such as Yonex or Victor. It is likely you will see their label when you receive your order.

We will always ensure we find the correct shipping box that matches your item. Your goods will be packed and brought to the shipping company in the best conditions.

Wrong delivery address

When a wrong or incomplete delivery address is entered, and the resulting costs are at all times for the account of the purchasing party. KW FLEX shall not be liable for incorrectly entering a delivery address. If the order is returned to KW FLEX by the delivery service, these costs shall be deducted from the amount paid if you cancel the order. If the order must be shipped again, these costs shall also be borne by the person who placed the order. These shipping costs depend on the country of destination.

How should we apply your new badminton grip?

To be able to give you the best service when fitting a new grip, we need to get answers to 3 questions:

1. Do you want the new grip over the existing grip (thicker) or does the original grip need to come off? 
   Short answer: Over existing grip / Without existing grip
2. Should the grip be applied with overlap for firm grip and power, OR very tight with little overlap for technical play and advanced grip techniques?
   Short answer: Overlap / Tight
3. Are you left or right handed?
   Short answer: Left Handed / Right Handed

By default, we replace the original grip with no change in thickness for a right-handed player.

Warranty

If our racket specialist removes the plastic foil from the original grip, you lose the right of return. This also applies if you remove the foil yourself. 

So if he has put a different grip on the racket, we cannot take the racket back.

The same applies to a racket with a stringing of your own choice and the number of kilos.

General stringing advice

The right string and tension is very personal, but in general we can advise the following:

Number of KG's

A soft stringing gives more Comfort and Power. A hard stringing gives more control and the potential for more smashing power.

A too high tension will feel like a wooden plank. Power will be reduced and it can even cause injuries. Too low a tension can lead to a powerless feeling, less shuttle speed and accuracy. So the tension should be just right for optimal results, which suits your technique and level.

• Beginners is 8-9 kg. (nylon shuttles)
• Intermediate players is 10 kg. (nylon and feather shuttles)
• Advanced players is 11-12 kg (feather shuttles)
• Professionals is 13+ kg (feather shuttles)
